FAYS Urgent Care Repair is to give your boat immediate attention. Like the Medical Urgent Care Centers familiar to us all, FAYS assesses the situation, fixes what can be fixed now, and helps you with plans for more extensive services that may be required. FAYS URGENT CARE REPAIR distinguishes FAYS from most other marine service departments, as they are often booked three to four weeks out in advance during boating season, with no opportunity to get a quick diagnosis or repair.
How does it work?
Upon arrival at FAYS MARINA www.BoatShop.com location, a FAYS Urgent Care Repair technician will:
- Inspect your boat with you
- Provide on-the-spot diagnosis if the situation permits
- Make minor repairs while you wait
- Order parts that are not in stock and give your boat priority when the parts arrive
- Schedule your boat to complete more extensive service needs
- Provide an estimate of repair costs, and notify you of any changes prior to starting the work
How much does it cost?
Purchase a boat from FAYS, and our customers automatically get FAYS Urgent Care Repair included. Our standard $49 minimum (1/2hr) for all non-warranty repairs or non-warranty diagnoses applies to all Urgent Care Repair services.
Why do others not offer this?
While most boat repairs should only take an hour or so, most dealerships have not developed a system to accommodate fast-turnarounds. Instead, they schedule their service on a first-come, first-serve basis, regardless of the time required to make things right. Making the change is not easy, but we’ve invested the time and effort to organize our service scheduling around this concept.
